Wildewood Update & Meeting Notice

WOA Board of Directors Meeting

November Board Meeting will be held Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Community Center. Property owners are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Volunteers Cleaned Up Park!

We are excited to share that the Westlake Baptist Church Youth Group, under the supervision of Youth Pastor Rick Arndt, along with additional volunteers from churches in Chandler and Winona selected Wildewood for a service project and raked leaves and generally cleaned up the park area in Wildewood on October 12! Thanks to Jennifer Rogers for arranging this, the park looks great! We’d like to encourage everyone else to spend some time doing some fall clean up as well, see below for information on leaf disposal.

Don’t Forget to Vote

There is a statewide election November 5 to vote on a number of amendments to the Texas constitution. These can be confusing. This link has some explanations and pros and cons and is provided by Henderson County

Also, Henderson County has changed the way we can vote. You no longer have to go to an assigned voting station, you can vote wherever it is convenient for you within Henderson County.

Here is a link to the list of the voting stations in Henderson County

Leaf Disposal

To reduce the amount of leaf burning in the community and to help prevent erosion of the area surrounding the community center, the board approved allowing dumping of leaves, pine needles and small sticks only from Wildewood residents only. Please contact Jamie Piersol 903-724-4355 for details on the process including when and where the material can be dumped. NO DUMPING without prior permission! Please be sure to push your materials all the way over the edge.
