The next regularly scheduled board meeting will be held August 10, 2019 at 11 AM at the Wildewood Community Center. Property owners are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Henderson County Sheriff Visit & Neighborhood Watch Formation Meeting
Botie Hillhouse will be joining us for a discussion of what the Sheriff’s office is doing to help keep us safe and what we can do to help keep ourselves and each other safe. There is interest right now in creating a Neighborhood Watch program in Wildewood.
Please encourage residents to join the neighborhood social media site, www.nextdoor.comif they can. A group has been created for Wildewood Neighborhood Watch and they can get updated information from that group.
The meeting will take place Thursday August 8 at 7 PM at the Wildewood Community Center. Please come if you can. If you can’t make it, please try to join the Nextdoor group for updates.
Burning Safety & Considerations
Burning is permitted within Wildewood but is regulated by both the Wildewood Restrictions and applicable Texas Laws including regulations from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Burning is a fire danger and a health risk for many in the community, so please be safe and considerate of your neighbors when you burn.
Per the Wildewood Restrictions
4. No noxious or offensive activity shall be carried on upon any lot, nor shall anything be done thereon which may be or become an annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood. No burning of household garbage will be allowed within the subdivision, adequate garbage collection service is available to all residents by Private Contractors.
22. Burning of vegetation is permissible so long as no burn ban is in effect. Vegetation fires shall not be left unattended. Burning of noxious materials, including household garbage will not be permitted.
Relevant Sections of TCEQ Regs include:
(A) The initiation of burning shall commence no earlier than one hour after sunrise. Burning shall be completed on the same day not later than one hour before sunset, and shall be attended by a responsible party at all times during the active burn phase when the fire is progressing.
(B) Burning shall not be commenced when surface wind speed is predicted to be less than six miles per hour (mph) (five knots) or greater than 23 mph (20 knots) during the burn period.
