As directed by the bylaws, the WOA annual membership meeting and election of Board of Directors will be held the first Saturday in June, (June 1) at 1 PM. Please note the meeting time, it’s directed by the bylaws and is not the typical 11 AM meeting time. The meeting will be preceded by a pot luck lunch starting at noon. WOA will furnish hot dogs and hamburgers. Please join us for the lunch and if possible, bring a side dish or dessert.
There are seven positions on the Board of Directors who are elected to two-year terms in a staggered manner. There are four board members whose terms expire in 2019 and those four positions are up for election. WOA is currently soliciting for anyone who would like to run for the board. Great American Clean Up Day May 11, 2019 8 AM – Noon River Park Chandler
The clean up day originally scheduled for April was postponed due to the weather. It’s now scheduled for May 11, 2019. We Need Your Help – Volunteer Opportunities
Pool Committee – Plans are to open the pool on Memorial Day and the more volunteers there are to help maintain it, the better it will be for everyone. If you would like to help, please contact Guy Sanders. A pool cleanup day will be held later in May, please consider helping get the pool ready to open.
Neighborhood Watch – We are still soliciting additional people who would like to assist with a Neighborhood Watch patrol, just making rounds of the neighborhood, looking for and reporting suspicious activity. Please contact Ray Hensley if you would like to volunteer.
Pool and Boat Ramp Access
Electronic access to the pool for this summer is currently being tested. Keys will be issued only to members in good standing, so if you have not yet paid those 2019 maintenance fees, please do so ASAP. More information about key distribution will be provided in the mailing with the ballots.
If you use the boat ramp, PLEASE re-lock the gate after you open it.
Mowing
It’s been a very wet spring and grass and weeds are growing like, well, like weeds. Mowing of the Wildewood common areas has begun. Please remember that keeping the right of ways in front of the lots as well as the lots themselves mowed is the property owner’s responsibility. If you have a lot that needs to be mowed, or need just the right of way in front of your property mowed and would like to pay to have our contractor mow it, please contact wildewoodboard@gmail.com and we can put you in touch with him.
Architectural Control
Please contact John Davis 936-204-2027 if you would like to report lots that have violations of the restrictions. Architectural control is currently working with a number of home owners to have properties cleaned up, so please volunteer to help.
Maintenance Fees
If you are not current on your maintenance fees, please send them to PO Box 415 Chandler, TX 75758 or contact wildewoodboard@gmail.com if you would like to meet someone and have them take your payment, or if you need to arrange a payment plan.
