Board Meetings

The November meeting will be held on the normally scheduled date, November 10, 2018 at 11 AM.

Outdoor Holiday Light Contest

At the October meeting, the board agreed to hold a holiday lighting contest. There will be a variety of categories to enter and details will be provided soon, so start working on your decorating plans. Prizes will be donated gift cards, so if anyone would like to donate a small gift card to be offered as a prize, please contact a board member. We’re looking to forward to everyone’s bright and creative entries and seeing Wildewood come to life at night!

National Night Out Report

National Night Out was a great success. We had a big crowd including a large number of children who greatly enjoyed playing on the playground and climbing around on the fire trucks and the Sheriff’s deputy’s car. We had a Sheriff’s deputy, the Fire Marshall and the entire Westside VFD turn out to enjoy spending some time with the community and everyone’s delicious contributions to the pot luck supper. Thanks to all who contributed and attended. Weather permitting, we’ll plan to hold the event at the pool pavilion again next year, as everyone enjoyed watching the kids play outside.

Leaf Disposal

To reduce the amount of leaf burning in the community and to help prevent erosion of the area surrounding the community center, the board approved allowing dumping of leaves, pine needles and small sticks only from Wildewood residents only for a trial period this fall.
